Apartment Stuff, Chocolate Cornet, and Okra

Today I went to meet with somebody who is leaving his apartment soon so had some stuff to sell/give away.  So I biked there early in the morning.  Got some sweet kitchen goodies for the new apartment:
I also reserved some other stuffs like a water boiler and clothes iron.
He didn't have much furniture left so I think I will not take the stuff he still had left (transporting big things is a bit of a hassle).

Along the way, I circled around my (hopefully) future apartment building and took some pics.  You can see it in the distance here from a side street:
That is the other side of that street:
 The whole building up close:
The street to the right of the building:
 And to the left:
It wasn't very busy being a Sunday.  Here is the building from the next intersection:
 And from the back:
This is the entrance (Grand Stage is the name):

So, I finally found it.  An actual Chocolate Cornet (well chocolate covered anyways).  Now if I could only remember which way Konata was teaching how to eat it... Was it the head first or the tail first?  Which was the head and which was the tail?  Anyways, I started with the fat end and I didn't have any trouble.  Win!

Heading back from downtown, I visited a grocery store (the train sometimes stops at the station prior to mine as a last stop so that happened today so I just walked) and got some food goodies for dinner:  fried squids, and tempura okra.
 Very tasty with some rice:
